// COLOPHON :: PUBLISHER
An independent editorial reading, nothing more.
We summarize the public record. We do not practice law, practice medicine, or sell products.
What this project is
Sermorelin Legal is an independent editorial project that publishes summaries of the peer-reviewed research literature and the U.S. regulatory record on sermorelin acetate. We are not a law firm. We are not a clinic. We do not employ clinicians, pharmacists, or attorneys, and we do not provide legal, medical, or compounding advice. We do not manufacture, sell, or distribute any product. Our work is editorial commentary on publicly available science and publicly available regulatory documents.
The word 'legal' in the domain name describes the editorial subject — the legal and regulatory record around the substance — not the nature of the publisher. We are an editorial outlet writing about the legal landscape; we are not a legal services provider, and nothing on this site should be read as legal advice.
How we work
Every regulatory claim on this site is tied to a named primary source. FDA claims link to Drugs@FDA, FDA guidance documents, or the Federal Register. DEA claims link to the Controlled Substances Act statutory text or the agency's published schedules under 21 CFR 1308. WADA claims link to the current annual Prohibited List or to WADA technical documents. Peer-reviewed scientific claims link to the publishing journal, PubMed, or PMC.
Where we summarize, we attribute. Where the record is uncertain — for example, the 503A bulks list categorization is actively under PCAC review and has shifted multiple times for related peptide substances — we say so. Where the literature is thin, we say that too: the adult aging-axis research on sermorelin is small (n=19 in the most-cited 1997 Khorram study) and has not been replicated in adequately powered modern trials, and we do not paper over that gap.
What we will not do
We will not recommend any specific use of sermorelin to any specific person. We will not provide dosing advice. We will not draft, review, or interpret a specific prescription or compounding order. We will not opine on whether any particular vendor, compounder, or prescriber is operating lawfully. We will not link to or promote any commercial seller of sermorelin or any other peptide.
We will continue to read and summarize the public record as it changes. The 503A bulks list architecture has been moving in 2024–2026, the WADA Prohibited List is updated annually, and the contemporary scientific review literature — anchored by the 2024 Schally lab review — continues to develop. We will reflect those changes when they happen and date our updates.
